"Dear Sir, I am in the smallest room of the house and your letter is before me. Very soon it will be behind me." - Sir Winston Churchill.
I currently rent a somewhat chic house with adequate space and a decent sized garage, but one thing that really annoys me is that this is the first house I have lived in where the khazi is in the same room as the shower, bathtub and sink.
What I find utterly infuriating about this is that if someone else wishes to wash their hands, they will interrupt me from the tome which I would otherwise be reading. I think that once enthroned, that the toilet itself is a a mundane and functional item. One demands serenity in such matters.
What say ye all?

I agree. But I live alone.

God, sorry-I just got in. Hope I'm not to late to post in this section!
I think you are wrong. I love having my loo by the bath. It saves a fortune in toilet paper.
Hope this helps.

ahhh the bliss of having only one bathroom, but not just one, but two separate throne rooms means that from my point of view, I can bathe in peace without fetid interuption from the male part of the household.
