My name is Jake and I'm a Sofaholic.
Some of you may tweet me, @Howe_zat, some of you may have heard me on the occasions I've been on the fabled Sofa. I'll let my bio from The Alternative Almanack speak for me:
"Jake Howe was first encoded in the early days of the internet in 1990. Having started out as a programmer’s inside joke, it quickly spread across the web and became permanently affixed to cricket databases. It is thought to have been the first artificial intelligence to have taken an active interest in cricket. Either that or it is a slightly irritating maths student from Leeds. Sources differ."

Addition: When not appearing on the Sofa in person, he may still make appearences through sollicited or unsollicited tweets with interesting stats.

I'm Colin aka @fitfish although the sofa seems to insist on calling me titfish. Play club cricket in the Berkshire league.
I found the sofa when looking for somewhere I could listen to the cricket while at work as the BBC was not an option as our internet was routed through the US. Once I found them there was no going back.

Hello, my real name is Darryl, but I'm pretty much known as lordp everywhere on the net. From New Zealand, which makes listening live a little bit of a problem, given most of the broadcasts are in the wee hours here.
Got introduced to the Sofa through Twitter from my boss sometime during the 2010/2011 Ashes (2nd or 3rd Test I think).
Something of a stats nerd, which has been most of my contributions to the Sofa. I do bow to the great Howe_Zat however.

I'm Rushy and I'm a very long way from Blighty. Currently on a two year deployment to the far east with a big American company. I'm based out of Singapore and found the sofa while trying to get some sort of Ashes coverage to stop me going mad (TMS doesn't get out as far as here). I've been listening ever since but only signed up today as my PayPal has been having trouble since my address changed.
I brought a few more listeners with me along the way too. :)
