Just a short one today as I eat my Thai Chicken sandwich. England are increasingly looking like the only side that has a chance of beating Australia and I'd rather play them in the semi-finals in St Lucia than on the quick Barbados pitch. To that end I'm rooting for a West Indies win today and even then I'm not sure if that is enough to force Australia down to 2nd place.
No feel for the India-Sri Lanka game today so I'm giving that one a wide berth but for West Indies-Australia I am all over the wides bet. These two sides have averaged more wides per innings that any other side still in the tournament and the line on match wides at CricketBetLive is 10.5. Combined they have averaged 16.25 per game and in two of West Indies' bowling performances they would have beaten that spread themselves!
